Southend Foodbank - Money matters

This service is only accessed via a referral process. Vouchers can currently be obtained via most Children’s Centres and some other supporting agencies, please email for more information regarding this. Clients bring their voucher to a foodbank centre where it can be exchanged for three days supply of emergency food. The list of foods in each parcel have been designed by dieticians to provide recipients with nutritionally balanced food. 

Distribution centres are now running in Hawkwell, Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Southend, Leigh-on-Sea and Southchurch.

Food vouchers must have been obtained before attending. Monday: 1 to 3pm at Ferndale Baptist Church, North Avenue, Southend

Monday: 5 to 6.30pm at The Faith Hope and Charity Shop, 40 Hedingham Place, Rochford

Tuesday: 1 to 3pm at Belle Vue Baptist Church, Belle Vue Avenue, Southend

Wednesday: 9.30 to 11am at Eastwood Baptist Church, Nobles Green Rd, Leigh-on-Sea

Wednesday: 1 to 3pm St. Saviour's Church, Kings Road, Westcliff

Thursday: 12.30 to 2.30pm at Shoebury and Thorpe Bay Baptist Church, Shoebury

Friday: 12:30 to 2:30pm Earls Hall Baptist Church, 120 Hobleythick Lane, Westcliff

Saturday: 9.30 to 11am at West Leigh Baptist Church, 1150 London Road, Leigh
