Scouting exisits to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. 1st Prittlewell has been part of St Mary's Church, Prittlewell since 1909 and welcomes new members.

- Beaver Scouts (6-8 year olds) are the youngest section in the Scouting family, their sessions run during term time on Tuesdays at St Marys Church.
- Cub Scout (8-10.5 year olds) sessions run during term times on Tuesdays at St Marys Church.
- Scouts (10.5-14 year olds) have their sessions run during term time on Tuesdays at St Marys Church.
As well as weekly meetings, during which we play games, gain badges and learn new skills, we also take part in District events, days out and camps.
