West Leigh Baptist Church Family Stay and Play - Childrens activities

We will be returning on the 9th September 2024 with ONE session from 9:30-11:30 and families will be required to book: you do not already need to be attending, this will be an open booking system.

We have made this decision as we were finding we were having a lot of spaces in the last term and we hope this means more families can attend.

We are aware that there may not be spaces for everyone – the ideal is for us to open another morning and if you would like to volunteer and support us in this ministry then please speak with Dani, help is always appreciated!

Each session starts with free play offering a range of play activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage. With a baby area, role play, physical area, reading corner, small world play there is something for everyone. In addition, there is story time and singing.

We have a rolling snack through the session for both children and adults offering hot drinks – we are known for our good coffee!

Also a nurse is available for baby weighs in and info.

The church has parking and push chair access and is along the London Road on a main bus route.

There is parking and changing facilities all available.

Monday term time only, 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Bookings will go live on a Friday – you will be able to cancel and change your booking yourself, there will not be any administration over the weekend and we will not be responding to communication outside of office hours. PLEASE
cancel if you can no longer attend allowing someone else to book.

We will be having two play spaces the main worship area will be open for families with children of those aged 0-4 years old. And we will be opening Glendale which will be for non- walkers, to provide a calmer more supportive space. You will need to book the room that is most suitable for your family. Children need to be supervised at all times, families will not be able to split across the 2 rooms.

We will continue to have support from Lorraine who is a our paediatric parish nurse and Jo our mental health nurse – they can offer weigh ins, physical and mental health support, this may be in Glendale or in a private area if required. And of course we will have singing with Mike!

£3 suggested donation per family.
