If you would like to have some counselling please contact me to arrange an initial consultation session. During this session you can let me know why you are considering counselling and what you hope to achieve by the end. If you are unsure exactly what the problem is, this can be explored during this time. I will explain how I work and can explain about the confidentiality of the work we will do together and answer any questions you have.
At the end of the consultation session if we are both happy to go ahead and work together a weekly time can be booked for you. The sessions are 50 minutes long although the consultation session could last up to an hour.
There will be regular reviews to look at any progress made and to ensure the most appropriate therapy is being used.
When counselling comes to an end it is important to work towards this ending. This enables you to look at the work done during the sessions and to acknowledge any changes that have been made.
