Description

Are you or someone you care about living in South east or Central Essex,  Need somewhere to turn?

This is an online peer support and mental health signposting group to help you with your mental health and wellbeing during isolation and beyond.

When it comes to mental health it can be hard to know where to start to find the help you want and need. This group is a safe space for those that wish to reach out for support or help point others in the right direction during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis. Whether you are living with a pre-existing condition, find yourself struggling at home, or simply want to know how to help your own or someone else's wellbeing during this time - This is a group for everyone, where all feelings are valid.

This group acts as a virtual peer support group and is managed by local mental health charity South East and Central Essex Mind. Members are welcome to help one another alongside the approved SECE Mind volunteers on hand to help. A member of the SECE Mind time will be available in the group on Tuesday's 10am to 12 noon and Friday's 1pm to 3pm. Together we can talk through how to help your needs and potential options to signpost you in the right direction, as well as offering a safe place to check-in whenever you need it.
