We work with the community and partner organisations to deliver sessions to:
- children
- young people
- families
- adults
- older people
We make sure our service is needs led, accessible and affordable to all. Our sessions complement and support other services. This avoids duplicating resources. Sessions are in partnership with Healthy Schools and the Local Authority.
Activities range from:
- Fun fitness for children
- Yoga
- Seated exercise
- Aerobics
- Legs, Bums and Tums
- Dance Fit and Zumba
- Hula
- Nordic walking
- Life skills advice for adults.
- So much more!
Adults, parents and children aged up to 95 take part in our classes. We also have specialist sessions for carers.
This includes:
- Respite
- A chance to stay active
- A chance to socialise.
Disability groups have access to trained professionals. There are pathways to join other health or sports clubs e.g. the NHS and Active Southend/Essex.
