Our park and nature reserve has 200 acres of ancient woodland and in 1985, it was made a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
It is a great walk for all the family. You can see squirrels, rare butterflies and other creatures.
The area has:

- Horse riding
- Pottery
- Restaurant
There is also a resource centre, which is run by Essex Wildlife Trust. This is a fantastic resource for schools which is close to the woodland and has:
