- Description
-
The Wellbeing project invites those living with any of the following; anxiety, stress, depression, dementia, learning disabilities or loneliness, to undertake therapeutic art making within a park and art room setting.
We teach how to use digital apps, and how to make digital art and traditional art. The project uses Metal’s NetPark (the world’s first digital art park) within Chalkwell Park, Southend-on-Sea.
We aim to help improve the mental wellbeing of the people of Southend and South East Essex through the reflective processes of walking in nature and undertaking new skills in art making and technology.
The project is run by a qualified and registered Art Therapist and trained volunteers.
