A local Chess club for players of all abilities, from expert to beginner and everything in between.
We have been in existance since 1897, and our online archives trace our history back to 1903. We have had several well known local people as members, including Southend's benevolant R.A.Jones. Our online calendar is regularly updated and shows all matches, as well as provinding links to local Southend & District League, Essex League plus Regional, National and International links.
