Thera:
- is a radical organisation seeking to demonstrate that people with a Learning Disability can take control not only of the support that they need but also of the organisation that provides it
- supports people to make informed choices in all aspects of their lives including where they live, who lives with them and who supports them in their own home
- employs people with a Learning Disability as Service Quality Directors - paid Exectutive Directors on the board of each Thera company. They help make decisions about how the companies are run
- employs people with a Learning Disability as Quality Assessors. They find out what people think about the support they get from Thera and what Thera needs to change to make people's support better
