We give free and confidential help to victims of crime, their family, friends and anyone else affected. When under 13 year olds are concerned we work with the parents to provide support. We give information, emotional support and practical help over the phone or via home visits. You do not have to report a crime to the police to get our help and can get support at any time, whenever the crime happened. We are not a government agency or part of the police. Our East of England region manages all of our services across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
Victim Support's Children and Young People's programme has just launched its new website for young victims and witnesses of crime. This interactive website provides information and support for children and young people and includes an "Interactive Courtroom" to help children who may have to give evidence at court know what to expect.
