SNAP is charity for families with children and young people aged 0-25 who have additional needs or disabilities and live under Essex County Council, Thurrock or Southend. SNAP's aims are to inform, encourage and support parents, allowing them to grow in strength and knowledge so they are better equipped to give the best possible help to their children.
SNAP's information services include advice and information appointments, a specialist library, specialist talks/ workshops, website and online directory of information and contacts. SNAP also run a range of parent and child activity sessions. This includes preschool groups, after school and holiday clubs for primary and secondary aged children and young people, parent yoga, inclusive choirs and sibling support. On site specialist facilities include a multi-sensory room, specialist IT suite, and small soft play area.
