Cancer can leave you and the people close to you facing many challenges, from coping with the emotional impact, managing the treatment pathways, as well as practical issues related to family life, work and school and welfare and benefits. Here at the Macmillan Information Centre we can provide information and support with any of these. You can come and see us and talk through what is going on for you, you can speak to a trained volunteer or a specialist cancer nurse, we offer a range of supportive events you can attend ranging from a support group, seated yoga, workshops, volunteer lead complementary therapy and a programme to help you adjust to life after cancer treatment.
You don't need an appointment to speak to or visit our centre and you're welcome whether you have a cancer diagnosis, are worried about cancer or are visiting on behalf of a friend or relative.
