Southend SEND Youth Voice is a group for those aged 11 to 25 who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
- share your experiences, thoughts and feedback
- take part in fun activities
- make important changes to improve the lives of children and young people with SEND in Southend
Meetings take place in the early evening every half term. Food and refreshments are provided.
The group is overseen by the Southend-on-Sea City Council Youth Voice Team.

Meetings take place at Friends and Places Together, Units 13 and 14, Top Floor, Victoria Shopping Centre, Southend-on-Sea, SS2 5SP.
There will also be fun days out in the school holidays!

Meetings will be held between 4.30pm to 6pm (unless stated otherwise) on:
- 21 January 2025 - This meeting will start at 4.30pm and finish at 6.30pm. The first hour will be at Friends and Places Together and at 5.30pm the group will move over to Indi Rock for a free bouldering session! The bouldering session is optional but encouraged. Parent carers need to complete a waiver if their child or young person wishes to take part.
