A book for children:
"Drew's Fab Jab" is a story book written by Gregoire Hodder, designed to encourage conversations between parents and their children about vaccinations. The aim of the book is to help families with young children understand the vaccination process while also comforting those who may be nervous ahead of any vaccinations.
The story follows a young mouse called Drew, who is on his way to his vaccination appointment. He receives tips from friends along his journey about how to reduce his nerves, as well as finding out how injections work.
Over 2,000 copies of "Drew's Fab Jab" have been donated to schools and libraries across mid and south Essex. You can borrow a copy from your local library or find a copy at your local Family Centre.
