Events and Activities
This section has information about local activities for children and young people.
Some activities are specifically for children and young people with SEND and others are inclusive activities for all. Please check availability and details with event organisers before attending.
To see directory listings for clubs and groups, you can either click on the 'view all services button', or search by theme - such as arts and crafts or dance, music and drama. Listings will appear alphabetically but you can filter them.

Holiday activities and food programme (HAF):
HAF is a free and exciting holiday programme for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who are eligible for benefit related free school meals. The programme runs over the Easter, summer, and Christmas school holidays and is funded by the Department for Education (DfE). Find details of the Southend HAF programme here.
