Mental Wellbeing and the Pandemic Recovery

Available Online event/service

Join SAVS and special guests for an interactive session to talk about mental wellbeing as we move into the pandemic recovery stages.

About this Event

As part of SAVS and Southend BCs Community Connectors programme and following Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ll be discussing how looking after our own mental wellbeing can have a wider impact on the local community. Building strong personal connections and local resilience can help communities to thrive and bounce back. There will be space for questions.

Steph at SAVS will be joined by –

Ruth Mortimer, Forest Clouds Nature Therapy – Ruth is a local Forest Bathing teacher who will be guiding us through a 10 minute nature meditation and explaining more about the power of nature on our mental wellbeing

Matt King, Trust Links – Matt will be talking about the work of Trust Links within the community and their new campaign Go, Grow, Give

Emma Mills, Netpark Wellbeing – Emma will be taking us through her work with NetPark Wellbeing, a joint SBC & Metal creative wellbeing project, and discussing how art and creativity can support us through difficult times.

Fran and Hannah, Mental Health Mates – Fran and Hannah will be talking about the Leigh Mental Health Mates Walks, that provide a safe and judgement free space for people to get together, walk and chat
