Online 49
Online 49 is a Facebook group designed, and run by Project 49 which is an innovative day opportunity for adults with learning disabilities (18+), where despite social distancing, we aim to still be together during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
‘Keep in Touch’ was a Facebook group set up at the start of the pandemic when the Project 49 service had to temporarily close its doors for those who attend. The online group has gone from strength to strength and we will now be continuing to provide the online interaction and activities for those still unable to attend their usual services or social events on going.
Online 49 is aimed at all, who during these difficult times, remain focused on improving their health and wellbeing.
We provide a range of sessions to be involved in, either through Facebook or via Zoom. We have something for everyone, from floor and seated Yoga, Drum & Bass kickboxing, cooking lessons to spice up your lunch, film club to keep up to date with the latest action or quizzes to keep you thinking.
Even though people must remain socially distanced this does not mean you have to be socially isolated. Join us over at the ‘Keep in Touch’ group to meet with old friends and connect with new ones.
