The Buzz - Look, Smile, Chat (8-18 year olds)
Who to contact
Look, Smile, Chat is our new campaign by NDCS to improve understanding of deafness among children and teenagers and help deaf and hearing children and teenagers to communicate with each other.
Most deaf teenagers go to mainstream school and some of their classmates don’t know how to chat to them. Simple steps can make a big difference – watch our films and download our free resources!
The Buzz gives deaf children and young people a safe and positive online space of their own. Please encourage your child to sign up and get involved if they are between 12-18 years old.
- The website is available to everyone and the campaign is specifically aimed at helping deaf/hearing impaired young people communicate with their hearing friends
