Venue

Notes

There is no parking on-site for clients but the venue is on the bus route and an easy walk from Southend Victoria and Prittlewell rail stations. There is usually parking available next to the Baptist church.  Please access this by driving past Prittlewell House (with Prittlewell House on your right hand side) and past the building just next to it.  Then directly afterwards (a few metres) turn right into the church car park.  Please park so your car is parallel to the fence and leave a note on your dash board to say you are visiting Prittlewell House.

Referral Details

Clients can self refer. Professionals can refer.

We seek to be available throughout the week and provide weekend and evening appointments to meet all types of need.

Initial meeting is an assessment meeting so that the client can discuss their needs and think with the therapist about possible ways of working on these needs to make progress or manage their feelings. One of the main principles of psychotherapy is that healing change can take place within the relationship with the therapist so the client will need to consider if they feel safe and comfortable with the therapist in order to decide if they wish to work together.

Timescales can be set for regular review in order that clients feel in control of their therapy and able to make decisions about whether to continue and therefore remain in control of their decisions.
