Information sharing
SSIF and the SEND Local Offer team will send information to members of the network. The SEND Local Offer team will also share information on behalf of the Southend SEND Partnership.
Information will be emailed. Please tell us if you need it in a different format.
If organisations want to raise awareness of their service they can:
- create or add to an existing Livewell Southend/Local Offer directory record
- ask the Local Offer team to share relevant posts on our social media channels
- post a news item or event to Livewell Southend
The Local Offer team link to news and events from SEND Network members in each edition of the SEND newsletter.
SSIF and the SEND Local Offer team will not share information with the network on behalf of other network members. Members are free to share information between themselves.
What happens if my organisation does not want to join the SEND Network?
Membership of the SEND Network is optional. If an organisation does not wish to join the network, SEND service updates and information about events and participation opportunities will still be available through the Local Offer.
Leaving the SEND Network
If you join the SEND Network and then wish to leave, you have the right to withdraw your or your organisations consent at any time by emailing localoffer@southend.gov.uk
