Description

Community garden project for adults with mental health problems and mild learning disabilities. We are transforming a vacant one acre allotment site into a beautiful community garden including polytunnels, wildlife pond, vegetable area and log cabin.

Activities at Growing Together Shoeburyness include garden maintenance, digging, building projects and garden design and development. We also provide a Diploma in Horticulture in partnership with Southend Adult Community College.

Members benefit from the physical activity, keyworker support and peer support at the project. Members can also participate in vocational training and other activities provided by Trust Links, including external trips.
