- Description
-
The Anxiety Society is a safe and friendly group. It is open to anyone that is struggling with
- anxiety
- depression
- mental health condition
It is for anyone caring for people with these conditions.
We are a peer support group. We aim to help each other through tough times. We want to help combat the isolation these feelings can cause.
Everybody in the group is or has felt the same as you. They could be supporting partners, family members or their children. Our community supports each other through:
- meeting up
- arts and crafts
- socialising
- 1:1s
- Facebook page.
We hope to signpost you to professionals that can help you. Sometimes we get those professionals in to our meet ups to support.
Most importantly we want you to know - You are not alone.
We meet several times a week. During the day and twice a month in the evenings.
Email us or find us on Facebook for up to date schedules of events.
