Evolve Intervention offers early intervention in the form of coaching, mentoring and group work for children and young people aged 8-18 living in Essex. We take referrals from schools or other professionals settings, as well as provate referrals from parents or carers. We can provide support in the following areas (list is not exhaustive):
Mentoring
Can address issues such as self esteem, anger management, self-harm, social and communication skills, coping with bereavement, identity, managing friendships, overcoming bullying, dealing with anxiety, engaging in risky behaviour.
Coaching – Academic and/or emotional.
Could be focused on any of the following as examples:
Academic - Motivation, time management skills, study skills, working through a particular problem area in terms of key skills e.g. numeracy, literacy;
Emotion – Building resilience, developing emotional literacy, passive, aggressive and assertive communication, becoming solution focused, coping strategies
Group Work
Can be designed to meet the needs of a particular group, covering areas such as: Healthy relationships, risk taking, managing behaviour, self esteem, exam preparation, managing stress, coping with transitions, peer mentoring programmes, youth work programmes
Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness
We are able to provide specialist workshops tailored to support those dealing with stress, anxiety, depression or other aspects of low wellbeing and emotional health. This can be delivered to children, young people and staff in your setting. Workshops consist of gentle yoga poses incorporating breath work, mindfulness, meditation and positive affirmations.

We can provide mentoring, coaching and group work to children and young people aged 8-18 living in Essex. We do not have a set criteria for referral and will therefore work with any child in need of early intervention in the areas our service covers. We will travel to the referrer's address to undertake and facilitate our inteventions.
