SAFE is a support group for individuals and families affected by Asperger Syndrome (AS) and High Functioning Autism (HFA) in Essex, including the unitaries of Southend and Thurrock.
SAFE Stuff - Saturday morning club for 8 to 12 year olds during term time.
A regular youth club in the south of the county for young people aged 13 to 21 years old where they are able to take part in a wide range of activities.
SAFE SPA (Social Participation for Aspergers) - this group offers adult members aged 18 plus an opportunity to get together socially during the day. Meetings take place in Southend.
A.S.A.P (Asperger Syndrome Adults and Parents) - an adults support group for those aged 17 years plus. Meetings take place in Southend and Chelmsford.
SAFE Women's group - for any woman over 18 who is autistic or strongly suspects they are autistic. Meetings are held virtually and in prson in Southend and in Battlesbridge.
SAFE South Support Group - a members only support group for parents usually meeting on the 2nd Monday evening of the month in Westcliff-on-Sea.
Alpha Sigma Delta - a group enabling girls with autism and their parents to come together on a regular basis to make friends and form lasting relationships.
Various social events for adults with Aspergers.
Parent/carer support meetings in Southend 2nd Monday evening of each month.
