Southend Young Carers - Emotional support & fun activities for Young Carers aged 5-17 years old! - Health and wellbeing

Southend Young Carers supports young carers aged 5 to 17 years old who are unpaid young carers for their family members. This can be mum, dad, brother, sister, nan/grandad due to a number of issues such as terminal illness, illness, disabilities, mental health issues, drug or alcohol addiction. 

We offer a weekly kid's club at Blenheim Children's Centre every Tuesday 4:30pm to 6:30pm with a whole range of different activities each week and we also offer a fun monthly event for our Young Carers to attend.

We offer a safe, non-judgemental environment for all young carers to receive the support and break that they need from their caring responsibilites.

All of our events are completely FREE to our registered young carers only.

To attend any of our Young Carer events you MUST be registered with us. Please visit our website southendcarers.co.uk to complete the registration form. Professionals such as social workers and teachers are also able to make a professional referral online.

Once your registration has been completed you will be sent a confirmation email with your child/s registration number which will then allow you to book onto our events.
