Southend Paediatric Audiology offer diagnostic testing of hearing function for those under 18.
They also offer rehabilitation for babies, children and young people with temporary or permanent, mild to profound hearing loss. This may include provision of hearing aids or devices.

Yes. Referrals can be made to the Paediatric Audiology community service or the Southend Hospital Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department by a GP, School Nurse, Health Visitor, Speech and language therapist or Paediatrician.
