Information-sharing event for charities and local organisations that support children and young people with SEND.
The Learning Disability and Autism Health Equalities Team and The Essex Alliance would like to invite you to an information event on Transforming Care across the Southend, Essex and Thurrock (SET) Essex Footprint. The Essex Alliance is made up of the 3 parent carer forums that cover each local authority within Essex: Southend-on-Sea, Essex and Thurrock. The Essex Alliance work together to represent all families across the county of Essex.
Transforming care is all about improving health and care services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
The event is aimed at the voluntary sector, charities and local organisations across the SET Essex footprint who support children, young people with SEND and their families.
The event will take place on Tueesday, 1 October:
- 9.30am welcome and networking
- Prompt 10am start and 2pm finish
Tea and coffee will be provided with light refreshments. Delegates are asked to bring their own lunch.
The event will be held in Committee Room 4a, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS2 6ER.
