We are updating our Home to School Travel Assistance policy for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities to align with new Department for Education guidelines.
The consultation period is from 2 December 2024 to 31 January 2025. You can view the draft travel assistance policy and further details on Your Say Southend.

- day-time sessions are held on Microsoft Teams every Wednesday from 4 December 2024 to 29 January 2025 (exlcuding 25 December and 1 January) from 12pm to 1pm
- evening session are held on Wednesday 18 December (6pm to 7pm), Wednesday 8 January 2025 (7pm to 8pm), Tuesday 14 January 2025 (6pm to 7pm), Thursday 23 January 2025 (7pm to 8pm) and Monday 27 January 2025 (6pm to 7pm)
There is no need to book a place. Anyone with an interest in this area of support can come along.
